These are some of my fish. It is rare to see goldfish, tetras, and cichlids living together. I had a beta in there too, but a crayfish ate him. The crayfish was rescued frozen from the farmers market and only lived about a week.
This cichlid is a black acara. As adults they are mostly yellow and blue. As juveniles they were much darker. I've had these seven black acaras since they were fry. They are quite healthy and easy to care for. Black acaras are known for there tolerance of low oxygen conditions.
This is a monk tetra. He is hard to see, except for the eye bar and black tail.
